On our way to our destination for that weekend, the beautiful city of Arnhem, we happened to find this abandoned farm. It is hidden between shrubs, trees and weeds, and that is probably the reason why there has been little vandalism.
This abandoned farm was spot during a road trip in August 2015. This urbex location is nearby a beautiful castle. Unfortunately that castle is not abandoned, so this was all we deserved that day.
During a holiday trip in the Belgian Ardennes, on our way to the beautiful city of Durbuy, we passed this abandoned building. There is not much information to be found about this urbex location, but what I know is that it used to be a small hotel.
Hotel Jadran was socialist Yugoslavia’s first hotel. When the construction of the hotel finished in 1950, most observers agreed that it was the most beautiful on the coast, situated along a three kilometer stretch of pebble beach on the Makarska Riviera in the tiny town of Tucepi, and surrounded in pines. This was my first urban exploration in a foreign country.
