During the summer holidays of 2016 we were on our way to the Krka waterfalls in Croatia when we saw large buildings looming in the distance. My curiosity was aroused and after visiting the falls we immediately drove back to the place we had seen. Because it was already evening and we still had to drive a long way back to our holiday accommodation, the explore took no longer than half an hour, but I was determined to return again!
It was for this reason that we booked a holiday in 2022 near Split, a 45-minute drive from this factory complex. At a temperature of 38 degrees I walked around here for two and a half hours and took about 150 photos. Hereby the first series of photos of the oldest buildings.
In the series to come I will mention something about the history of this oldest aluminum factory in the Balkans.
